I am always looking for ways to use holiday stamp sets year around. I want to get my monies worth, if you know what I mean? Here is a Thank You card using materials intended for Valentine’s Day. I can’t take credit for this idea…but I am not sure who came up with it…enjoy!

Here is the recipe using Stampin’ Up! cardstock and Designer Series Paper
4 1/4 x 11 Chocolate Chip scored at 5 1/2
4 x 5 1/4 Very Vanilla
4 x 21 1/2 Sending Love Specialty paper
Sending Love Epoxy Brads in Real Red
Pretty in Pink cardstock
Real Red Cardstock
Hear Punch
Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder
Big Shot
1/16 Punch
3/4 Circle Punch
Run a piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock through the Big Shot using the impressions folder. Punch out 5 hearts and score in half. Punch a 1/16th hole in each of the hearts at the base. Punch out a 3/4 circle using Real Red. Punch a 1/16th hole in the center. Thread the brad through all the holes and arrange in order to make the flower. Then adhere all pieces together and stamp with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink using the With All My Heart stamp set.

My first workshop was a huge success. I can’t believe that I get to share what I love with my family and friends. We made two cards to celebrate World Cardmaking Day and a really cute bookmark, which was one of the first projects I ever made.

Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set
I love the InColors! This stamp set is one of my favoites in the catalog. We have used it for many projects since the new catalog came out. We used the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, which we also used to make the bookmark.

Razzleberry Lemonade Bookmark
We punched out the flowers with the 5-Petal punch, which just happens to be one of the Deals of the Week. You can get this punch for just $10.99 until Oct. 12. We used Pumpkin Pie card stock and 1/4 inch gross grain ribbon, along with the designer buttons in Button Latte.
The third card is my new love! (Don’t tell my husband…LOL!) We used the Autumn Splendor Stamp Set and Autumn Meadows DSP from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I am in love with this paper. We used Really Rust, Very Vanilla, and Taken with Teal card stock. We inked with the really rust classic stamp pad. We used linen thread to give it just a touch of Fall.

Autumn Splendor
The picture does not do it justice. Trust me on this! I can’t wait until Oct. 31. when I will be doing my Christmas Workshop. Stay tuned for more details!

I made this card yesterday for a friend who had to have surgery. I love the expression when people open up cards and ask, “Did you make that?” It is the look that says, “I feel special!”

I used the following products:
#100702 Old Olive Cardstock
Designer Series Paper
#100475 Cameo Coral Cardstock
#102277 Old Olive ink
Stampin’ and Write Markers
#113500 Fun and Fast Notes Stamp set

My first workshop is scheduled for Saturday, October 3 from 2 pm to 4 pm. We will be making three hand stamped projects. Come ready to explore your creativity and learn tons of fun stuff.
Why you should attend? I have been attending monthly workshops for over a year now. It is my therapy! Stamping is a stress relief for me. I look forward to it every month. I am always away with the little treasures I create everytime. Stamping workshops are an investment in myself.
The workshop will be held at my house. Email me at cherisse@iqstampnscrap.com to R.S.V.P. and directions.
There will be snacks and fun prizes! You don’t want to miss out!
